How to float Henry's Fork in Island Park
Nestled within the forest of Island Park, our updated cabin is perfect for relaxing after a full day of adventuring
Conveniently located near Island Park Reservoir, Henry’s Fork, and Yellowstone National Park, this is the perfect place to call home after a day of adventure in the great outdoors. Featuring new mattresses and bedding, a comfortable living room, a fully-stocked kitchen, an eight-person hot tub, and the sounds of an alpine creek, a good night’s rest is guaranteed.
The cabin was recently remodeled and is still a hidden gem. It's directly across the street from local favorite Shotgun Bar, but it's tucked away in the pines on the banks of Hotel Creek, so you'll feel miles away from everything. The stars will remind you that this is where you belong.

World-class ATV and snowmobile trails within a mile

Look to the north, and you'll see the area's tallest mountain, Sawtell Peek. Drive your side-by-side from the cabin along Stamp Meadows Road and wind your way to the top for Island Park's best views. From here, you'll get a 360-degree view of the Continental Divide, Henry's Lake, Island Park Reservoir, and even the Grand Tetons.
Outdoor recreation abounds. Some of the area's best fly fishing is only a three-mile drive away at Henry's Fork. Buttermilk Boat Ramp is six miles away if you want to spend a day on the reservoir. You can also rent boats and other equipment from Lakeside Lodge. Island Park's steepest and deepest mountain snowmobile riding is accessible from the driveway.
Shotgun Village is a quiet area, but you can still grab a drink across the street at the local hangout spot, Shotgun Bar. Hustle your friends in a game of quarters or hook and ring. On weekend evenings in the summer, you can sit out back, enjoy some BBQ, and listen to an acoustic set from a local songwriter.
Need a bite to eat but don't wanna drive too far? Lakeside Lodge has an onsite restaurant that some consider the best food in Island Park. They also host fun events and parties like Fourth of July fireworks and the Lighting of the Lodge in November.
And, of course, the west entrance of Yellowstone is only thirty miles from the cabin. Yellowstone is almost as big as the state of Connecticut and can be crowded in the summer, so plan ahead with drinks and snacks. Pro tip: visit in May or September when the park is less crowded and our nightly rates are lower.
